crashmargulies: (politics and pride)

Crash (they/them) is a 31-year-old artist, writer, educator, and social justice advocate living on Očhéthi Šakówiŋ (Dakota Sioux) & Ojibwe/Anishinaabe land in what's now called Minneapolis, MN. Their drinking water currently comes from the Mississippi River.

Causes close to their heart include disability justice (including avoiding airborne illness), queer liberation, fat liberation, and radical relationships. They came out as queer in 2007, polyamorous in 2013, trans in 2018, and they became too disabled to work in 2024. They are still wearing a respirator consistently and actively avoiding COVID-19 and other airborne infections and hazards, like measles, norovirus, avian flu, and wildfire smoke.

Crash self-published a non-fiction memoir/biography/journal project, Crazy Beautiful Life: a story of friendship, love, addiction, and death, in 2016.

When able to take a break from the rising dread, Crash likes to cuddle their cats &/or dogs, play video games (Hades I & II, Balatro, Pokémon TCG Pocket), consume horror books & movies, and ride their electric cargo bike.
